The yacht will be built to Lloyds class for commercial operation and will be offered for charters upon her delivery. Her project management will be a collaboration between EKKA yachts and her experienced Greek owner’s team that has previously commissioned a new-build superyacht with Sanlorenzo.
This is EKKA Yachts’ fourth metal superyacht order with Sanlorenzo in the last three years, including two 500EXP and one 44 Alloy.
“We are thrilled to have secured such an important order for Sanlorenzo, which marks our biggest new-build to date and Sanlorenzo’s biggest Explorer Yacht order ever. We are grateful to the commissioning owner for having entrusted our brokerage services for the second time, and for demonstrating vision and determination to embark on this project after months of commercial and technical negotiations with the Builder” – Dimitris Kyriazakos, Managing Director – EKKA Yachts.
Special thanks go to the Sanlorenzo super-yacht division team (Gabrielle Stella, Stefania Delmiglio, Ferrucio Rossi, Fabiano Ciampolini) as well as the owner’s in-house legal and technical teams for their efforts in concluding this major milestone. The parties were assisted by Clyde & Co and Watson Farley & Williams Greece in the yacht building contract.
