The 37.49 metre motor yacht Sol, has been sold with Ekka Yachts in Greece introducing the buyer.
Built in aluminium by Italian yard RIVA, she was designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, and delivered in 2014 as the first in the yard’s Mythos range. She has a modern, minimalist Italian décor throughout with Canaletto walnut wood and lacquered panels, lacquered ceilings and chrome plated stainless steel trimmings along with bleached oak wooden floors. Entertainment systems throughout the boat are based on Denon surround sound equipment.
Accommodation is for six guests in three generous cabins including a full-beam master suite with a private sauna, a VIP with a queen sized bed and a twin cabin, all with television screens and full en-suite bathroom facilities.
The open plan saloon has an elegant seating area including large white sofas with leather occasional chairs, while the dining area has a glass and chrome plated stainless steel table for eight guests. Large windows offer uninterrupted panoramic views and plenty of sunlight indoors, and all chairs and sofas are by Minotti.
The main deck cockpit is perfect for al fresco entertaining and dining, featuring two L-shaped sofas for 10 people, a teak table and eight chairs, a bar with sink, ice maker and fridge plus a Samsung 40-inch LED television that drops down from the ceiling. Up on the flybridge there are yet more facilities for lovers of the outdoor life, including a large Jacuzzi, and there is further sunbathing available on the foredeck. Twin 3,510hp MTU engines give her a top speed of 28.5 knots and a maximum cruising range of 1,300 nautical miles at 12 knots, and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
