Myrto Kyriazakou heads the EKKA Yachts Chartering Department. She is your dedicated specialist addressing the market on both ends: yacht owners and charterers. She has a talent for predicting people’s expectations as well as a thorough understanding of the different services and experiences offered by each type of yacht. Charterers and yacht owners repeatedly trust her to represent them and do the best possible match making for both. Her credibility, global broker relations, and wealth of experience in marketing ensure that a yacht handled by EKKA is always in high demand.
Myrto spent seven years in the UK, earning a Degree in Psychology and Postgraduate Studies in Media and Photography. She worked for a variety of galleries in London and also exhibited her own work. In 2003 she returned to Athens to join the Olympics Games 2004 Cultural Events Organizing Committee. She subsequently joined the family business to expand it’s marketing department. Her passion and flair for traveling and hospitality soon drove her to recognise the need for a dedicated charter department for the company. Through the years, her service-oriented approach, diverse experience and skills, brought a steady growth of returning clients and a subsequent expansion for EKKA’s chartering department, breaking into new frontiers.
Having spent her childhood and adult summers on boats, she shares the family passion for yachting and is involved-in all aspects of the business. This breadth of experience and exposure has had a pronounced effect in her decisions and provides her with an insight in the industry that few share. Myrto loves the Greek landscape and hospitality above all, and her sources of inspiration include music, cooking and traveling. She speaks English, French and Italian. Last but not least, she is mother to sea-loving twins Aliki and Yiannis.
